WHITE SPIDERS

WHITE SPIDERS are a Santa Monica–based rock band inspired by the sun-soaked spirit of 1960s American music, blending rock ’n’ roll energy with surf rock warmth, melodic pop sensibility, and subtle art-pop textures.

Formed in 2021, they consists of vocalist and rhythm guitar Danny Cole, lead guitarist and vocalist Miles Frost, bassist and vocalist Frank Shore, drummer Sam Turner, saxophonist Ray Wilder, pianist and keyboards player Julian Bloom.

Their sound is sunny, nostalgic, uplifting, bittersweet, dreamy, playful, and hopeful, evoking endless summers and emotional memories that linger long after the song fades.

Built around rich vocal harmonies, jangly guitars, groovy rhythms, and vibrant arrangements featuring saxophone and keyboards, WHITE SPIDERS create music that feels light on the surface but emotionally resonant beneath. Their songs capture moments of joy, longing, and reflection, balancing carefree melodies with a gentle sense of nostalgia.

WHITE SPIDERS craft timeless songs designed to travel across highways, coastlines, and memories, offering a modern interpretation of classic American rock filtered through a contemporary, cinematic lens.

WHITE SPIDERS were formed along the California coast, where ocean light, open roads, and vintage radio sounds shaped their musical identity. Rather than recreating the past, the band reimagines it, drawing from the emotional core of 1960s rock while allowing modern production and subtle electronic textures to expand their sound.

Their songwriting often begins with simple, joyful structures that slowly reveal emotional depth. Surf rhythms meet pop harmonies, saxophone lines add warmth and color, and keyboards bring a dreamlike, slightly surreal edge.

WHITE SPIDERS see music as a bridge between eras. A way to hold onto optimism without ignoring melancholy. Their songs feel like postcards from another time, written with today’s emotional awareness and crafted for listeners who seek warmth, movement, and hope.
